‘The Warm Front’ is a government initiative aimed at helping families improve the energy efficiency and warmth of their homes. You may be able to claim a grant of up to £1500 if:

• you own or privately rent your home;
• you are pregnant and have been given a MAT B1 maternity certificate
• you have children under 16; and
• you or your partner are on any of the following benefits:
  • Working Tax Credit (with an income of less than £14,200 and which must include a disability element)
  • Child Tax Credit (with an income of less than £14,200)
  • Disability Living Allowance
  • Income Support (which must include a disability premium)
  • Housing Benefit (which must include a disability premium)
  • Council Tax Benefit (which must include a disability premium)
  • War Disablement Pension (which must include the mobility supplement or constant attendance allowance)
  • Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (which must include constant attendance allowance)
