Activity: Snakes and Ladders

Beaver Scouts/Cub Scouts/Scouts

All you need for this is to print out the board, dice and a different coloured counter for each player. Throw the dice to see who goes first and then make your way around the board from 1 to 64. If you land on the bottom of a ladder you can move up to the top of it. If you land on the top of a snake, you’ll slip right back down to the bottom.

Leaders

This game is based around being energy efficient and environmentally friendly. If you land on a square where energy is being saved you climb a ladder but if you land on a square where energy is being wasted you slip back down.
